  • 1. I can hardly sympathize Batman. "When the Romans had barbarians at gate, they suspend democracy and appoint a dictator to lead them." "Yea, and the last dictator they'd got is Caesar." Remember in the Interpreter, how Nicole Kidman pointed her gun at the tyrant's head, and forced him to read out the book he wrote "as if he believed by heart"? He was a liberator too. Power corrupts, but men never learn not to endow one person unchecked power.

    2. Batman knows he would either "die a hero, or live long enough to become a villain", but I doubt he would escape from his fate. Compare Fidel Castro and Che Guevara.

    3. 「從來無人叫我八婆,人人都叫我靚女ga!」「你又想點呀,日日係度煩住我,又唔做家務wor!」「(抽出一隻咸魚狀的白飯魚)我留左條魚添呀,你食唔食呀?」很好。不過我以為除了gag位之外,一齣舞台劇該還有別的甚麼。單親家庭,兒子沉迷於作曲的夢想之中,總覺得老父麻煩又不了解自己,逐漸覺得老友女友都麻煩,初則冷淡應對,之後更惡言相向;最後老父老友女友都離他而去(或是被他趕走),只剩下主角在孤獨中回首往事。覺得這故事似曾相識?不緊要,他們還要加入一個精神有問題的拾荒客,藉他之口說出父親的愛。還要讓主角突然悔悟,找回父親,配上一個happy ending。橋段老土,部分演員演技也不算成熟,而最後主角心理的轉變也有點生硬。可能是我要求太高吧。如有冒犯,請見諒。

    4. "Do you know what's a dream? A dream's something worthy to die for." 主角的夢想是作曲,你的又是甚麼?(不要問我,我也想知道。)

    5. I admit I prefer talking and chatting to playing. Next time I should avoid going places I won't feel happy in.

    6. 書展入場人數再創新高?恭喜貿發局吧。香港書展與其叫書展,不如叫散貨場。大書店拿出來「展覽」的大多是在書店近門口處見過很多次的熱門書,打個八折九折就推出堆起,偏偏不同大書店的品味又相去不遠。Grand Hall那邊竟然有文具展商高聲大叫「埋黎睇埋黎揀」,害我趕急轉往Hall 2錯過了天窗出版。朋友想找冷門一點的英文書,如賈德.戴蒙的《槍炮、病菌與鋼鐵》(Guns, Germs and Steel),根本找不到。當然,另一個可能性是書展的環境讓人不想找書。[不過也有以新書作主打的上書局,出版的書也有水準(不代表我認同書中的意見),大家可以找找。]

    7. 會考放榜講座。預計自己有20-29分的同學,你想中六搞學生活動,還是想把學生活動留給大學階段?預計自己有14-19分的師弟,請注意中六班別志願的順序。趁還可以回頭的時候,想想你最希望的是回歸華仁,還是修讀自己喜歡的學科?無論如何,祝各位好運。
